Website for a Davao Small Business: What You Need in 2026

What a Davao City small business website must show, how to appear in local Google searches, Facebook vs website, payments, and our fixed prices.

By the Tuncer Technologies team ·

Davao City has no shortage of small businesses: carinderias and cafes, clinics and dental offices, hardware stores, salons, tutorial centers, resorts on Samal, transport and delivery services. Many of them run entirely on a Facebook Page. That works until a customer searches Google for "aircon cleaning Davao" or "dentist Lanang" and finds your competitor instead.

This guide covers what a Davao small business actually needs online in 2026, in the order that brings customers fastest. We are a software team based in Davao City, and at the end you will find our fixed prices.

Start with what local customers search for

When people in Davao look for a business, they usually search one of three ways:

  1. Your business name, after hearing about you from someone.
  2. A service plus the city or area, such as "catering Davao City", "laundry Matina" or "car rental Davao".
  3. "Near me" searches on their phone, which show the Google map results first.

To be found in all three, you need a Google Business Profile (the map listing) and a website that clearly says what you do and where. The profile helps people find you. The website helps them choose you, and gives Google more to understand about your business.

What your website must show

Keep it simple. A good small business website in Davao answers these questions within seconds on a phone:

  • What do you do? One clear line at the top, such as "Aircon cleaning and repair in Davao City".
  • Where are you, and which areas do you serve? Your address with a map, or the barangays and districts you cover if you go to the customer.
  • When are you open? Opening hours, including Sundays and holidays.
  • How much, roughly? Starting prices or a short price list where you can. Customers in Davao often message first just to ask the price.
  • How do I contact you? A tap-to-call number, a contact form, and links to Messenger or Viber if you use them.
  • Can I trust you? Real photos of your shop, team and work, plus reviews.

Use the same business name, address and phone number on your website, Facebook Page and Google Business Profile. Small differences confuse both customers and Google.

Language: English, Tagalog or Bisaya?

Most business websites in Davao are written in English, and that works for search and for visitors from outside the city. But your customers talk to you in Bisaya, Tagalog or a mix. Consider short Bisaya or Taglish lines for your greeting, call to action or FAQs. It feels local and friendly, and the main pages stay easy for everyone to read.

Facebook Page or website?

Keep both. Facebook is where your regular customers follow your posts and send messages. The website is the address you own: it cannot be suspended, it appears in Google searches, and it gives you an email address on your own domain, such as info@yourbusiness.com. Add the website link to your Facebook Page and Google Business Profile, and link back from the website.

Accepting payments

Many Davao customers prefer GCash or Maya. You can start by showing a QR code or sending payment links, and later add a full checkout that confirms payments automatically. Our guide on accepting GCash and Maya on your website explains the options.

Davao-specific tips

  • Plan for busy seasons. If Kadayawan in August or the holidays bring you more customers, update your hours and promos on the website and profile ahead of time.
  • Make it fast on mobile data. Many visitors browse on their phones, so compress photos and avoid heavy sliders and videos on the first screen.
  • Show your area. If you serve Samal, Panabo, Digos or Tagum as well, say so on the site.
  • Protect customer data. If your contact or booking form collects names and numbers, add a short privacy notice, as the Data Privacy Act requires.

How much should you budget?

You do not need a large website to start. A one-page site with your services, photos, hours, map and contact form, on your own .com domain, is enough for most small businesses. Add more pages when you offer several distinct services, branches or a menu. Budget for the yearly domain and hosting renewal too, not only the build. Our guide to website, hosting and domain packages explains what to check before you buy.
