Grab is not one app. It is rides, food delivery, parcels, groceries, payments and more, built by thousands of people over more than a decade. So when someone asks "how much does an app like Grab cost?", the honest first answer is: you do not need all of Grab. You need the one or two services your city is missing.
This guide explains what a Grab-style app is made of, why ride-hailing is a special case, published cost ranges, and what we can deliver today at fixed prices.
What an app like Grab is made of
Every on-demand service has the same building blocks:
- Customer app: request a service, pay and follow it live on a map.
- Driver or rider app: receive jobs, navigate, update status and see earnings.
- Merchant or provider app: restaurants and shops accept orders; service providers accept bookings.
- Admin dashboard: zones, pricing, users, payouts, disputes and reports.
- Backend: dispatch logic, notifications, payments and security.
A "super app" connects several services to one account and one wallet. Each new service adds its own rules, screens and testing.
Start with one service
Successful local platforms usually win with one high-frequency service first, such as food delivery or errands, and add the next only when customers and partners are active every day. Launching five services at once means five half-finished experiences and five times the support work.
Ride-hailing is a special case
Passenger transport is regulated. In the Philippines, transport network companies need accreditation from the LTFRB, and other countries have their own licensing, insurance and driver checks. Plan the legal side before the software. This is why we do not sell a ready passenger ride-hailing product: passenger transportation is quote-only after an assessment of feasibility and operating requirements (/store/A11).
What does it cost?
Vendor guides commonly quote tens of thousands of U.S. dollars for a single-service ride-hailing MVP built from scratch, and well over USD 100,000 for multi-service platforms. Those are vendors' own estimates, not market data, but they show why most new operators start from software that already works.
What we can deliver today
We designed and built Rundzee, a local marketplace for food, deliveries, errands and home services, live in Davao City: customer, rider and merchant apps on the App Store and Google Play, an operations portal and the backend, with GCash, Maya and cash on delivery. Our app packages configure that kind of platform with your brand.
Philippine orders are handled by Poseidon Distribution OPC, Davao City, and paid in pesos; U.S. orders by Rundzee, LLC, paid by card in USD. Prices are as of 24 October 2026; the checkout always shows the current price for your country.

| Passenger transportation (/store/A11) | Feasibility and operating requirements first | Quote only | Quote only | After assessment |
Each package includes a required 12-month care plan. Orders above USD 5,000 at the U.S. list price are paid 50% at checkout and 50% before launch, or in full with 5% off. Cloud bills, store accounts and payment fees are paid by you.
Not sure which services to launch first? Start with requirements discovery (PHP 5,000 / USD 199).
Do not clone the brand
"Grab clone" is a common search, but copying another company's name, logo, colours or screens is a trademark and copyright risk, and app stores reject copycat apps. Build your own brand on a platform that works, and compete on local service.
FAQ
How much does it cost to build an app like Grab?
A full Grab-scale super app is a multi-year, multi-team project. A local multi-service platform is far smaller: our combined app platform is PHP 249,000 in the Philippines or USD 6,995 in the United States, plus a required monthly care plan.
Can you build a ride-hailing app like Grab?
Passenger transport is quote-only after an assessment of feasibility and legal requirements. We do not claim a ready ride-hailing product. Delivery, errands and service bookings are available as packages today.
How long does it take?
Our combined platform takes 6 to 8 weeks to configure, plus app store review. Single-service packages take 3 to 6 weeks.
Can I start with one service and add more later?
Yes, and we recommend it. Start with food delivery or errands, then move to the combined platform when you add services.
Do I need my own payment gateway?
Yes. You need your own payment provider account for cards and e-wallets; gateway fees are charged by the provider.
