If your customers still book by Messenger, text or phone, you already know the cost: messages answered late at night, double bookings, and no-shows nobody reminded. An online booking system fixes most of that. The question is how much you need.
There are four levels, from a simple booking page to your own booking app. Here is what each one costs and when it makes sense.
Level 1: a booking tool subscription
Ready-made scheduling tools let customers pick a service and a time slot. Most charge a monthly subscription, and some take a fee per booking instead. Setup is quick, but the booking page lives on the tool's website and looks like everyone else's.
Good for: solo professionals and small teams that need bookings this week.
Level 2: a booking page on your own website
The booking tool is connected to a page on your own site, with your services, prices and branding. Customers book without leaving your website, and Google sends them to you, not to the tool.
Good for: salons, clinics, tutors, consultants and repair services with up to a handful of services.
Level 3: a booking website
A full website built around booking: service pages, staff, a scheduler and confirmation emails. Better for search, because every service can have its own page.
Good for: businesses with many services or one busy location.
Level 4: your own booking app
Customer and provider apps with a shared backend: customers book, providers accept jobs, and you manage everything from an admin dashboard. This is how home-service and on-demand businesses work.
Good for: businesses that send providers to the customer, or marketplaces with many providers.
Features worth paying for
- Automatic reminders by email, SMS or WhatsApp. They reduce no-shows.
- Deposits or prepayment by card, GCash or Maya for services where no-shows are expensive.
- A clear cancellation policy shown before the customer confirms.
- Staff calendars so two people cannot be booked for the same slot.
- Privacy: a booking form collects names and numbers, so add a privacy notice as the Data Privacy Act requires.

FAQ
How much does an online booking system cost?
A subscription booking tool is a monthly fee. Our Online Booking Page, set up on your site with up to 5 services and one calendar connection, is PHP 8,900 or USD 299 one-time, plus the booking tool's own subscription if it has one.
Is there an online booking system for small businesses in the Philippines that takes GCash?
Yes, if the booking setup is connected to a payment provider that supports GCash and Maya. Online payments are a separate item from the booking page; our payment gateway integration is PHP 15,000.
Do I need an app or just a website?
Most businesses that serve customers at one location do well with a booking page or booking website. An app makes sense when you send providers to customers or manage many providers.
How long does setup take?
The Online Booking Page takes about 7 days after you send your services and calendar access. A booking website takes 2 to 4 weeks.
Can customers get reminders?
Yes. Many booking tools send email reminders. For SMS or WhatsApp reminders, add the messaging integration; message fees are charged by the provider.
