Getting a business online usually means dealing with three separate things: a domain name, web hosting and the website itself. Buy them from three different places and you end up with three logins, three renewal dates and nobody responsible when something breaks.
That is why many small business owners prefer a single package. This guide explains what a good website, hosting and domain package should include, the traps to avoid, and how to pick the right size for your business.
The three parts, in plain English
Domain name. Your address, such as yourbusiness.com. You rent it by the year. Whoever is listed as the registrant controls it, so it should be you.
Hosting. The computer that stores your website and shows it to visitors, 24 hours a day. Good hosting includes a free SSL certificate (the padlock in the browser), backups and malware scanning.
Website. The pages your customers see: what you do, where you are, how to contact you.
A package simply bundles all three, sets them up so they work together, and gives you one point of contact.

What a good package should include
Use this checklist when you compare offers:
- A .com (or local) domain registered in your name. Not the agency's name. This is the single most important point.
- At least one year of hosting with SSL, backups and malware protection.
- A mobile-ready website with a contact form that actually delivers to your inbox.
- Written scope. How many pages, how many revisions, what you need to supply.
- Stated renewal terms. What the domain and hosting cost from year two, and whether anything renews automatically.
- Access to your accounts. You should be able to log in to your hosting and domain.
- Optional business email. An address on your own domain, such as info@yourbusiness.com.
Red flags to watch for
- The domain is registered to the designer or agency.
- "Free website" offers that lock you into a long contract.
- No written list of what is included.
- Renewal prices that are not mentioned until the bill arrives.
- No way to move your site elsewhere later.

Best for: clinics, restaurants, contractors and shops in busy local markets that need several pages for services, gallery and contact details.
What you supply: your text, photos and logo. After year one: the domain and hosting renew at the normal yearly price, and we tell you before anything renews.
Which package should you choose?
Ask yourself three questions:
- Do customers mainly call or message you? Starter Online is enough to get you found and contacted.
- Do you send quotes or invoices by email? Choose Business Ready, so every email comes from your own domain.
- Do you offer several distinct services or locations? Business Pro gives each service its own page, which helps both customers and search engines.
You can start small. Moving from a one-page site to a 5-page site later does not require a new domain or new hosting.

FAQ
Is the domain really mine?
Yes. In our packages the .com domain is registered in your name. You keep it even if you move your website elsewhere later.
What happens after the first year?
The domain and hosting renew at the normal yearly price. We send notice before renewal, so you can decide.
Can I use a .ph or other country domain instead of .com?
Our packages include a .com. If you prefer a country domain, search for it on our domains page and contact us; we will tell you what changes.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. We connect the domain, install SSL, set up hosting and publish the site. You only send us your content.
Is business email included in Starter Online?
The Starter hosting plan supports mailboxes, but setting up and testing business email is part of Business Ready and Business Pro. You can also add Business Email & Domain Setup separately.
Can I pay in pesos?
Yes. Customers in the Philippines see prices and pay in PHP.
